Event Description

For the very first time in our young company history Moticon participated two major events on the southern hemisphere. Having both, the 13th Footwear Biomechanics Symposium (FBS) and the 16th Congress of the International Society of Biomechanics (ISB) in Australia, It did not take too much time deciding to go there. Another aspect was meeting our local partner John Corcoran from JC Measurements to discuss product updates and conduct some trainings sessions.

Being part of the Footwear Biomechanics Symposium for the first time we found ourselves in the middle of a small and friendly group of high quality researchers, both from well-known international universities as well as from the big shoe companies, like Adidas, Nike, LiNing, or New Balance. Besides presenting the Moticon sensor insoles it was a good chance to meeting existing customers in person, listening interesting talks on new footwear development and having some beer together at the congress dinner.

Moticon says THANK YOU for the great interest to all the interested researchers but also to Professor Peter Milburn and his team from Griffith University for the great organization.
