Moticon closed our 2017 conference event calendar with Davos Courses (December 3-8) – the AO Foundation’s annual educational flagship. The AO Foundation is a medically-guided, non-for-profit organization led by an international group of surgeons specialized in the treatment of trauma and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Set in the Davos Congress Center, Switzerland, the 2017 AO Davos Courses attracted 1252 participants from 84 countries. The forum was an excellent opportunity to meet with strategic and AO project partners regarding clinical studies using Moticon sensor insoles. Furthermore, Moticon strengthened our clinical research presence through ad-hoc booth discussions with orthopedic surgeons and industry key opinion leaders. Our booth visitors learned how to seamlessly integrate Moticon sensor insole technology for daily-life, longitudinal fracture aftercare patient monitoring. Of note, the real-time weight bearing feedback app was very well-received by the orthopedic surgeons.
