Summary
As responsible representative for Moticon’s SCIENCE product line, you hold a key position for the expansion of our outstanding marketing position in the world of motion research.
You are passionate about building excellent customer relationships in the sports and clinical research space, about solid research in human motion, and about making Moticon the worldwide number one brand for sensing foot dynamics.
With your empathic yet unambiguously clear and professional nature, you are able to grow and lead a dedicated team.
With your affinity for representing Moticon, you help building a strong brand.
While keeping your know-how up to date, you are keen in improving the efficiency of our internal work.

Key Qualifications

  • Strong people and communications skills, ideally including experience in team lead
  • Background in human sciences including study design, motion analysis, research methods, statistics and a track record of peer reviewed publications
  • Ideally experience in business development and hands on sales activities, including acquisition of new customers
  • Fluent verbal and written German and English
  • Ability to adhere to a schedule of diverse management tasks

Description
The role has the following responsibilities to fulfil as they are related to 3 key areas:

1. Sales

  • Work out ongoing business plans and strategic decisions with management
  • Build and lead team of people supporting and growing sales activities
  • Establishing new customer relationships
  • Answer incoming sales inquiries and provide relevant information, including offers
  • Carry out online and on site product demonstrations and conduct seminars
  • Process sales orders and related tasks including communication with office management, accounting and production
  • Search and apply for public tenders
  • Manage confidentiality agreements with customer

 

2. Marketing

  • Plan and carry out marketing events and conference attendances
  • Manage and align search for publications, initiate online marketing campaigns and social media content with inhouse marketing specialist

 

3. Research

  • Support customers during study design phase, IRB approval and execution of research studies
  • Support internal research projects with scientific know how and hands on advise
  • Help establishing partnerships with external research partners (e.g. universities)

 

Additional Requirements

  • An apitude for acquiring knowledge and skills and for pro-actively optimizing business processes
  • Excellent prioritization skills and an ability to make decisions quickly
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Success in team environments, demonstrating shared responsibility and accountability with other team members
  • Availability on office hours 8:30 – 14:00, Mon-Thur
