Steps to Replacement

Learn more about how you can initiate a Moticon Sensor Insole replacement below.

 


1. Order Moticon Replacement Service
Login to the Moticon Customer Portal, order and pay replacements.
Tax and shipping costs are charged upfront.
You will receive a shipping ticket for DHL Express with a phone number to assing pick-up time/address.
You can use the Moticon shipping package from the primary delivery to send your products back to us.


2. Trigger Replacements
We start making your replacements ready to ship as soon as DHL tracking indicates returns on the way.


3. Shipping Information
We ship your replacements with preferred priority.
Make sure the shipping address in the Moticon Customer Portal is up to date!
The DHL tracking number and the shipping status are shown in the Moticon Customer Portal.


4. Delivery of Replacements
We ship via DHL Express.
Typically, we’re able to ship replacements within 3 work days (from Moticon factory).
Depending on the recipient’s country, delivery date typically is less than 1 week after the shipping date.

Sensor Insoles vs. other Wearable Devices
A  Moticon Sensor Insole is a highly sophisticated measurement tool, dressed in a consumer device style package. However, it is completely different from activity tracker wristbands or similar products. They are exposed to extremely high mechanical stress and wear out over time just as any shoe does. Keep it in mind and handle your Moticon Sensor Insoles with care!


Durability
A typical durability of Moticon Sensor Insoles is between 100km and 200km (~ 60mi to 120mi) running. Watch our handling tips to make sure you use your Moticon Sensor Insoles according to their intended use.


Quality Assurance
Quality is our passion. Moticon Sensor Insoles undergo a extensive quality assurance and calibration procedure in our production before they ship. They are made for real outdoor use: walking, running, jumping.


Limitations
The actual durability of the sensor insoles strongly depends on the usage and the care that is taken for handling and cleaning. In high stress applications like trail running analyses, they wear out faster than in studies with patients only walking slowly. Hence, it is also up to the user how long Moticon Sensor Insoles last!
